This glaze was almost called Frozen because of its songstress-ice-queen energy (never pass up a chance to reference a Disney musical). But then I stumbled across a blue lace agate in a shop selling gems and incense- because, Northern Rivers – and instantly saw this glaze mirrored in the rare stone: matte-smooth surface, depth, icy blue, soft bands of white. A ceramic glaze with mineral heritage.
